Fred T. Foard scored the last twenty-six points against the Hickory Red Tornadoes to get the big win 47 to 28. The Red Tornadoes had a 21 to 7 point lead in the second quarter, but Foard batteled back and scored 40 of the last 47 points. The Tigers were led by Quintin Owens, who had 220 yards on 20 carries. Hickory was led by Quarterback Kevin Shleton, who had 117 yards and was 9 for 18 passing. Foard wins this game 47 to 28.
